DAHLONEGA, Ga. — It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains in north Georgia, Dahlonega has been named the top festive small town for a charming Christmas getaway, according to Southern Living.
With its horse and carriage rides, festive decorations, and old-fashioned charm, this city is picturesque at Christmastime, as if it were straight out of a Hallmark movie. It's no wonder why the quaint town has triumphed over its jolly small-town rivals.
