CLEVELAND, Ga. — A Georgia family is grieving after a mom was killed and her three children were injured following a car crash in Cleveland on Thursday.

Georgia State Patrol said troopers responded to a three-vehicle crash on Georgia 115 at Ed Lewis Road in White County just before 6 p.m. on July 18.

The investigation showed that the mom, 34-year-old Bailey Gabler, was driving with her three kids in a Jeep Grand Cherokee while it was pouring down rain. Their Jeep then hydroplaned, where it spun out of control and was T-boned by an oncoming Porsche Macan, troopers said. The Porsche then struck a Dodge Ram 1500.

GSP said first responders arrived and rushed Gabler to the hospital, but she was sadly pronounced dead.

Her three children were taken to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, where they are recovering. According to an online fundraiser set up by a family friend, one of the kids had both legs crushed in the crash and is having surgery to fix two broken legs. The online fundraiser also said that Gabler was a single mom raising three children on her own.

"Bailey's mother will need to take time off work to provide the care and support her grandchildren need during this difficult time," the online fundraiser reads. "The family also needs to find a larger place to live to accommodate their new circumstances and afford therapy sessions for the children as they heal emotionally and physically."

The fundraiser has raised nearly $10,000 of its $50,000 goal at the time of publication of this article.
