ATLANTA — Atlanta now boasts the largest budget in city history after city council passed the whopping $790 million outline Wednesday.
This will be for the 2024 fiscal year, meaning the massive plan will take effect this month.
Among the items included are:
- $12 million for repaving roads throughout the city
- $3.5 million for Atlanta's Affordable Housing Trust Fund
- Bonus of $2,500 for all emergency 911 workers
- $2,000 bonuses for city workers make less than $71,000
