Massive trade show Atlanta Market underway at AmericasMart

It's billed as the "premier gift, home and lifestyle market" and takes place at the AmericasMart venue in Downtown Atlanta.

ATLANTA — A massive annual trade show, a staple of Atlanta commerce, is underway this week Downtown.

Atlanta Summer Market 2023 began Tuesday, July 11, and is running through Monday, July 17.

It's billed as the "premier gift, home and lifestyle market" and takes place at the AmericasMart venue in Downtown Atlanta. A release last month said it is the "summer's biggest gift, home and outdoor buying event, with expanded discovery opportunities, fresh product from 6,000+ lines, plus a full roster of education and special events."

In 2021, the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau president estimated that over the market's eight-day period there were more than 20,000 hotel rooms booked and $36 million in economic impact generated.

"Atlanta Market is ready to welcome top retailers and designers to market and to enhance the on-site experience with expanded resources, new at market tools and compelling programming," ANDMORE CEO Bob Maricich said in the release.

According to the trade show's website, Atlanta Summer Market 2023 showrooms are ongoing from:

  • Tuesday, July 11 - Monday, July 17, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

Temporaries are ongoing from:

  • Wednesday, July 12 - Saturday, July 15, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, July 16, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Antiques + Cash & Carry is ongoing from:

  • Wednesday, July 12 - Saturday, July 15, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

The Casual Market Atlanta is also going on this week as part of the events, which is a showcase for outdoors products.

That's happening July 10-13.
