ATLANTA — An upscale milkshake chain that won the approval of a celebrity investor on ABC's "Shark Tank" may be destined for downtown Atlanta, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reported.
The Yard Milkshake Bar on Thursday filed permits with the City of Atlanta to build out a space at 341 Marietta St. NW. The location is adjacent to established restaurants such as Stats, Der Biergarten and Twin Smokers BBQ.
Construction on the 1,822-square-foot space is expected to cost $130,000, according to the filing. Alpharetta-based commercial real estate firm Songy Highroads is listed as owner of the building.
