HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — A massive window replacement company is opening up its first southeast manufacturing facility in Georgia.
Gov. Brian Kemp announced Tuesday that Renewal by Andersen will set up shop in Henry County. A division of Andersen Corporation, the new manufacturing facility is expected to create 900 new jobs and invest more than $420 million into the Locust Grove area, according to a news release from the governor's office.
Headquartered in Bayport, Minnesota, the new manufacturing facility will expand the Anderson Corporation's footprint in Georgia. It will be built at The Cubes in Locust Grove, joining an Andersen Logistics distribution center in Douglasville and an Andersen Windows and Doors office in Marietta.
"We are thrilled to be joining the Locust Grove community – expanding our operations, accelerating our growth, and adding to our team in Georgia," said Andersen Corporation President and CEO Chris Galvin in a news release.
The facility will first support Renewal by Anderson, the company's start-to-finish window and door replacement division with the potential to expand and support other facets of the corporation. Construction is expected to start this year with operations slated to begin in 2025.
