More than $2 million owed to Georgia workers in back wages | How to see if you're owed money

U.S. Department of Labor data shows how more than 7,000 workers across the state are impacted.

ATLANTA — The data on back wages can reveal some eye-popping numbers: In Georgia alone, there are more than 7,100 workers owed more than $2 million collectively, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.

The owed wages span the state, but the data there too would surprise you: It's not Fulton County where the most money is owed ($300,138) and it's not even in metro Atlanta. You can find the most owed money down in Colquitt County - $327,477 owed to 816 workers.

And Early County, by far, is home to the most impacted workers with 1,446.
