IKEA Atlanta was closed for several hours Monday morning for unknown reasons.
The home furniture retailer said the store was experiencing “technical difficulties.” Their corporate Twitter account made the announcement just after 10 a.m but didn’t offer specifics.
The message read, “Hej IKEA fans! IKEA Atlanta is closed until further notice due to technical difficulties. We'll post updates here as we receive them. We apologize for any inconvenience!”
The store, located on 16th Street, was set to open at 10:00 a.m. Just after 1:00 p.m., IKEA tweeted again that the store reopened. They thanked everyone for their patience.
