Looking to make a career jump into a job that pays more? These are the jobs you may want to consider, according to recruiting site Glassdoor.
The heath and tech sectors - unsurprisingly - dominated the list of the highest salaries, though the top three spots were all in the medical field.
Physicians were the highest-paid position, pulling in an annual salary of about $193,000, more than three times the median US salary of roughly $54,000.
But be warned: While the salaries are large, most of the jobs on the list required years of schooling and training. That's a reflection of what Glassdoor's says is an employer's willingness to pay top-dollar for the narrow pool of job seekers with highly-specialized skill sets.
"Going forward, we should continue to expect to see jobs like these continuing to pay top dollar since the demand for talent with these niche skill sets is still exceeding the supply of talent by quite a bit," the company says in its report.
