Sixty-one lucky braves fans will have the chance to become the last person to hit a homerun at Turner Field and win $61,000.
On Sunday, October 9, Aaron's will celebrate its anniversary by celebrating baseball.
Why 61?
It marks the year Roger Maris broke Babe Ruth’s single-season home run record with 61 long balls, a feat that would not be repeated for another 37 years.
It also stands for the number of years Atlanta-based Aaron’s has been in business, offering payment plans for furniture, electronics and appliances.
In honor of the importance of 61, Aaron’s and 680 The Fan will partner for a homerun contest and tribute to fans’ love of watching their favorite players “go yard.”
