ATLANTA — It's back! Historic Atlanta Westside restaurant Bankhead Seafood is reopening on Sunday, Nov. 17.
The reopening comes after Atlanta rappers T.I and Killer Mike secured a million-dollar loan in 2023 to revive the restaurant.
The two rappers initially announced plans to rebuild Bankhead Seafood in January 2020, just months before the COVID-19 pandemic forced a shutdown inside the U.S.
T.I. and Killer Mike purchased the property back in 2018. Here's a look at the new renovations:
"Our Famous Fried fish (with Mustard and Hot sauce)and world’s best hush puppies just like y’all remember—AND now with revamped rooftop vibes + full bar," Killer Mike and Bankhead Seafood wrote in a joint Instagram post.
