HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. — EDITORS NOTE: The following story has been updated to reflect new information on the suspect in Ramirez' killing.
The family of Minelys Zoe Rodriguez Ramirez, a north Georgia woman now believed dead following the discovery of remains in the days after her disappearance, is asking for the public's help in laying her to rest.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said earlier this week that investigators located the remains of a woman believed to be the 25-year-old woman who was reported missing a week ago in Habersham County.
A message on the GoFundMe page from Minelys' mother states:
"We are raising funds for funeral expenses to take her to Puerto Rico and give her a Christian burial on the island where she was born. Thank you in advance. God bless you."

More on the case
Habersham County Coroner Kasey McEntire said the discovery was made on Furniture Drive, which is close to the Walmart in Cornelia, where Rodriguez-Ramirez was last seen around on Oct. 22. The Walmart is off Furniture Drive.
Angel DeJesus Rivera-Sanches, a 24-year-old man, was arrested and charged with murder and kidnapping. He was taken to the Habersham County Detention Center, where he was denied bond.
Since then, Habersham County Police have confirmed with 11Alive that he was in the country illegally.
According to the Habersham County Sheriff's Office, Minelys last texted someone on Oct. 22, around 9:30 p.m. GBI said her family reported her missing the next day.
