ATLANTA — The Hall County Sheriff's Office is changing things up a bit for Breast Cancer Awareness Month by swapping its badges out for brightly pink ones.

"The special badge is just one way of showing support for those who have fought the breast cancer battle or are in it right now," the sheriff's office said in a statement.

A post on Facebook showed off what the new badges will look like.

The sheriff's office notes that members of its team that wore the badges purchased them with their own money, the funds going to the American Cancer Society.
