ATLANTA — After TikTok food critic Mr. ChimeTime's glowing review of Atlanta restaurant Red Rice, the community has been showing their support in full force.
On Sunday, Rashad Mooreman, known as Mr. ChimeTime on TikTok, posted an update saying that Red Rice's owner has matched his $1,000 donation to feed even more people in Atlanta.
"We paid $1,000 to feed a bunch of people. And boy, did y'all show up and show out," Mr. ChimeTime said in the video. "The owner matched my $1,000 and added an extra $1,256 to feed more people."

The owner also offered a 15% discount for those who stood in line and didn't receive a free meal over the weekend.
"But most importantly, I wanna thank everyone that came out to support Red Rice," he said. "I seen that line, and I'll be real with you, I hadn't seen a line like that ever. Okay? Ever."

The owner of Red Rice also posted a video on Instagram, thanking the community for all of the love and support.
"The food at Red Rice that me and my children, and my aunt... prepare, is cooked with love, patience and a little praise in there," she said. "And I believe that is what has set us apart... I love y'all and I thank y'all from the top, bottom of my whole heart."
