FITZGERALD, Ga. -- Seven people have been charged in the January shooting death of a Fitzgerald forklift driver who hit the lottery.
According to WALB-TV in Albany, Six of the suspects are in Ben Hill County jail and another is locked up in Colquitt County. Two of the suspects are women - Rosalyn Swain of Fitzgerald and Keyona Dyous of Moultrie, according to the story posted Monday on walb.com.
The others are: 27-year old Earnest Holcomb of Fitzgerald, 17-year old Wayan Jordan of Fitzgerald, 19-year old Dabrentis Overstreet of Tifton, 28-year old Nathaniel Baker of Moultrie, and 21-year old Anjavell Johnson of Tifton.
All are charged with malice murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of firearm during the commission of the crime, according to WALB-TV.
Craigory Burch Jr. matched all five numbers from the Nov. 29 Fantasy 5 drawing, winning the $434,272 jackpot. He purchased the winning ticket at H&R Food Mart at 1507 Watson Blvd. in Warner Robins.
He was shot to death Jan. 20 in a robbery in which investigators believe his lottery winnings were the target.
According to WALB, Burch was with his girlfriend when a shotgun blast blew open the door and three armed people wearing masked entered.
