ATLANTA — Atlanta Police are investigating after an 11-year-old boy was shot in the leg Sunday afternoon.
APD said the shooting happened at Our Best Laundry laundromat located in the 3200 block of Martin Luther Kin Junior Drive SW, across the street from CT Martin Natatorium and Recreation Center.
The boy was taken to the hospital, where he was "alert, conscious and breathing."
Atlanta Police's Aggravated Assault Unit is investigating what led up to shots being fired.
