Two children sentenced, mother faces charges in Noah Bush drowning case

Prosecutors say the child admitted to pushing Noah into a water-filled clay pit and holding his head under until he drowned.

WAYNE COUNTY, Georgia — An 11-year-old has been sentenced to two years in confinement after pleading guilty to charges connected to the death of 8-year-old Noah Bush in Wayne County, according to WSAV, an NBC affiliate in Savannah.

Prosecutors said Thursday the child admitted to pushing Noah into a water-filled clay pit and holding his head under until he drowned.

In July, another 10-year-old was sentenced to two years in a detention center. The mother of the older child also faces charges, with a hearing set in 30 days to discuss restitution for Bush's family.
