ATLANTA — Two young men just a couple of years apart were injured in separate shootings in Atlanta, according to police on Sunday.
The first incident occurred Sunday just before 2 a.m. on Oldknow Drive.
Officers said they found a 16-year-old boy who had been shot in the face. They added that he was alert, conscious, and breathing. The boy was transported to the hospital.
The second incident happened around 3:30 a.m. on Metropolitan Parkway.
There, officers said they found an 18-year-old male who had been shot in the abdomen. Police add that he was alert, conscious, and breathing. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
There is little additional information on both of these incidents right now. The names of either victim have not been released, and there is no word on a suspect.
