STONECREST, Ga. — A 23-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday evening at an apartment complex in DeKalb County, police said.
DeKalb Police said officers responded around 7:15 p.m. to the 1300 block of Turnberry Place, the address of Creekside Corners Apartment Homes in Stonecrest.
When they got there, they found the 23-year-old with a gunshot wound to the chest. Police said that he and the suspect were fighting each other in the parking lot when the suspect pulled out a gun and shot him.
It's unsure if there is a suspect in custody at this time. Detectives are working to find out more information about the shooting.
