HALL COUNTY, Ga. — Three suspects are behind bars, and one is still at large following an undercover online child sex sting over the weekend, according to the Hall County Sheriff's Office (HCSO).
On Jan. 12, a two-day operation named "Operation Good Shepherd" was conducted by investigators from HCSO, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Floyd County Police Department.
Investigators communicated with several online contacts on social media platforms. Four people who had been communicating with undercover investigators then traveled to a location in Hall County to meet people they believed were under the age of 16 with the intent of having sex.
Three of the suspects were taken into custody on site, while the fourth arrived at the scene and ran from authorities. All of the suspects were charged with electronic exploitation of a minor.
Police are currently searching for the fourth suspect, identified as 23-year-old Jaquan Deavonte Clark, of Braselton, and a warrant has been taken for his arrest.
Authorities say the operation is still active.
