MONROE, Ga. — Three juveniles were arrested and accused of murder in the death of a 19-year-old who was shot earlier this month. An 18-year-old was also hurt in the shooting.

Monroe Police Department detectives announced their arrest Tuesday. Police said the three were involved in the Oct. 2 shooting by North Broad Street and G.W. Carver Drive.

Authorities said while en route to the area just before 11 p.m. that night, they received a second call reporting gunshot victims. Officers said when they arrived, they found the two teens, 19-year-old Dameon Johnson and an 18-year-old hurt. Both were shot multiple times and rushed to Piedmont-Athens by EMS.
