ATLANTA --- The four suspects charged in the the Barcelona Wine Bar murder investigation pleaded not guilty Monday.
Carlous Bailey, Terry Jones, Samuel Ott, and Ira Williams waived their arraignments in court.
The four were charged in the shooting death of 29-year-old Chelsea Beller.
On Nov. 19, 2017, police were called to the restaurant early that morning. Authorities said three robbers entered the Howell Mill Road location as employees were closing. The robbers forced the Beller upstairs to open the safe.
One of the suspects shot her in the shoulder. She was taken to the hospital where she later died.
The fourth suspect was driving the getaway car, law enforcement officers said.
The first arrest in the case came more than a month after the deadly shooting. Investigators matched DNA evidence from the scene to Ott.
Officers arrested Bailey a month after that, after he was arrested in DeKalb County for another crime. Authorities arrested the final two suspects, Jones and Williams in February.
