Argument leads to bystander being shot, sent to the hospital in Stone Mountain: Police

Here's what we've learned from authorities.

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — A person is in the hospital after being caught in the crossfire when an argument turned violent in Stone Mountain on Sunday afternoon. 

According to police, the incident happened on the 1100 block of Rankin Street at around 12:52 p.m. Authorities said the shooting began during an argument between two males who knew one another. That's when a female was shot in the crossfire and sent to the hospital. Her condition or age is currently unknown. 

The suspects then left the location -- one by foot and the other in a Black Dodge Durango. Police have not provided their ages or identities at this time.
