DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A man was shot and killed in DeKalb County on Saturday evening after an argument over money escalated to gunfire, according to police.
Police responded to Peachtree Creek Circle just after 6 p.m., where they found a 50-year-old man who had been shot multiple times near a pool.
A 31-year-old man was detained at the scene, police said. The investigation shows that there was a dispute over money before the deadly shooting.
Detectives are working to learn more about what happened. Police have not released the name of the man who was detained.
