Investigators have made an arrest nearly 14 years after the murder of a University of West Georgia college student.

Toyal Jackson, a college senior, disappeared in October 2000. Her car was found at a Walmart. Thirty days later, her body was found in a field five miles from the university.

The only clue came from a witness at the Walmart who saw a man forcing a girl into a pickup truck.

The GBI created a sketch from the witness description.

Authorities have now indicted Samuel Edwards in the murder. It appears his boasting helped build the case against him.

Toyal's family says they're happy about the indictment Toyal's mother said she wants justice for her daughter and is thankful that detectives never gave up.
