ATHENS-CLARKE COUNTY, Ga. - Officers are searching for a suspects after a man was found shot in his car on Thursday.
According to police, the victim was found at the intersection of Milledge Avenue and Riverband Road in reference to a person shot.
When they got to the location, they found a man in his mid 30s suffering from a gunshot wound in the driver's seat.
The victim was shot in the torso and had been shot at the Park at Athens apartment complex located on 1000 Lakeside Drive, which is just two minutes from where he was found.
When the victim stopped at the intersection he reached out to a passerby for help. According to police, he was in and out of consciousness.
The victim describes the suspect as being a black man wearing a mask.
The man's condition is unknown at this time.
