ATLANTA — Atlanta Police are investigating after a man died and two others were injured in a shooting in the Vine City neighborhood early Tuesday morning.
Authorities are calling the shooting that happened around 2 a.m. on Thurmond Street a homicide.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who was shot in the head and two others shot in the leg. The man shot in the head was taken to the hospital in "critical condition" but later died.
After investigating, police found that the men were at the location when they suddenly heard gunshots.
Investigators recovered shell casings and a firearm.
Atlanta Police have not released any details on the identity of the victims or any suspects.
