ATLANTA — A 27-year-old man was shot and killed in Atlanta's Pittsburgh neighborhood on Sunday morning, police said.
The incident happened at a location on Ira Street, with the Atlanta Police Department saying officers responded just after 4 a.m.
"Upon arriving on the scene, officers located a 27-year-old male victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Responding medical personnel pronounced the victim deceased on the scene," a police statement said. "Investigators with the Homicide Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident."
There were no further details about the incident provided. It was unclear what led up to the shooting, and there was no identifying information about a potential suspect available.
