ATLANTA — An arrest was made in December roughly a year after a killing at an Atlanta apartment complex, and Atlanta Police said Thursday that the suspect has now been extradited from Cobb County to Fulton County.
The victim, 20-year-old Zicory Kenner, died about a week after the Dec. 7, 2022 shooting at an apartment complex in the Fairburn Mays neighborhood.
Suspect Javon Williams, now charged with murder, remained at large for more than a year before, police say, he was taken into custody in late December and then extradited from Cobb to Fulton.
Court records show a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Williams for Jan. 22.
