ATLANTA — A large police presence descended on a busy area of West Midtown overnight after an off-duty Atlanta Police Department officer was shot at, investigators at the scene said early Monday.
The officer was uninjured, 11Alive's Bobeth Yates reported at the scene.
An investigation is still ongoing in the incident. There were no initial details available about the circumstances surrounding the gunfire.
It happened in the area of the intersection of 17th Street and Northside Drive.
