ATLANTA — A person died Tuesday night after being found shot in the Cascade Road neighborhood, Atlanta Police said.
According to Atlanta Police, the victim was 41 years old. There was no immediate additional identifying information about the victim.
APD said officers responded to a location on Orlando Place SW a little after 7 p.m. "to a report of a person shot." Officers on scene found the victim "who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds."
The individual was initially transported to the hospital in critical condition, but in an update early Wednesday police said he had "succumbed to their injuries at the hospital."
"Investigators with the Homicide Unit will now lead the investigation," APD said.
