ATLANTA — A teenager was shot at a residence in southeast Atlanta on Sunday evening, police said.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded to a location on Oak Knoll Terrace SE in reference to a person shot after 9 p.m. When they arrived, they found a 16-year-old who had an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Police said he was not alert but was breathing and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
It is currently unknown what led up to this shooting. It is an active investigation, police said.
