ATLANTA — A woman was found shot and killed Monday at a trucking lot in Atlanta's Capitol View neighborhood.
Atlanta Police said officers responded to 985 Cox Avenue SW; the address appears to be associated with a tow company. On scene, they "located a female who sustained an apparent gunshot wound" a police statement said.
"Medical personnel pronounced the female deceased on scene," the statement added. "Investigators with our Homicide Unit were notified and are en route to investigate further."
There was no initial identifying information available on the victim, and there were no details about how the shooting may have unfolded.
