A suspect wanted in connection with the murder of an Atlanta man was arrested Thursday in Charleston, S.C.
Purcious Smith, 29, of Atlanta, is wanted in the Oct. 17, 2017, murder and armed robbery of Sergio Collins, whose body was found in a car outside Stonecrest Mall in Lithonia, three days after he disappeared.
Police believe Collins, 27, was shot to death in the 200 block of Elm Street in Atlanta.
According to the FBI, which arrested Smith, the suspect will be held in Charleston where he will await extradition.
