ATLANTA — Atlanta Police said Thursday that officers had responded to a call about a person shot on Piedmont Road.
It happened at the intersection with Rockledge Road, police said.
"We are in the early stages of this active investigation and additional information is not readily available," a police statement said.
It was not clear how serious the victim's injuries might immediately be or whether there was any suspect in the incident.
