ATLANTA -- Police are still trying to gather details surrounding a shooting in south Atlanta on Friday that left one man injured.
Police responded to the Atlanta Medical Center late Friday evening on reports of a man with a gunshot wound. They later learned that the shooting happened in the area of Lakewood Way SW and Hilltop Drive SW.
Despite having a general location, they were unable to find the actual crime scene when they arrived. Investigators haven't yet released a possible motive or suspect in the case.
Police also haven't released the exact severity of the victim's injuries but said he was alert.
