ATLANTA — Atlanta Police need the public's help in identifying a thief who allegedly swiped an expensive Rolex watch from an employee in the middle of the busy Lenox Mall - and it was all caught on video.
Surveillance video from Atlanta Police shows the suspect doing his best to get into the good graces of the employee behind the counter. As the video continues to roll, it shows his charm and conversation paying off - the employee agrees to let the suspect try on the sparking, expensive watch.
Moments later, though, after strapping the watch on his wrist, video shows the suspect make a run for it, weaving his way through holiday shoppers.
But the brazen accused robber made no effort to hide his face or the crime - the snapshots provided by police show him not breaking a stride as he quickly hits the door and vanishes into the parking lot.
Police have not said if he's working alone or not.
