ATHENS, Ga. — Athens-Clarke County Police are looking for a 21-year-old man who is tied to 23 burglaries, attempted burglaries and entering autos.
Bryson Hamilton is wanted for the crimes - many which occurred along the Hancock corridor.
Through photo evidence, officers connected Hamilton to a series of incidents in late September and detectives began their investigation which is continuing.
They said he mainly steals electronics – speakers, computers, gaming consoles and controllers as well as backpacks, clothes and shoes.
Police are reminding residents to remain vigilant. In a statement, they said:
"ACCPD reminds residents to discourage criminal activity by removing valuables from their vehicles as well as locking vehicle doors. To prevent burglaries, lock doors and close windows and blinds. Residents should also turn on exterior lights, install a video surveillance system, and contact police if you notice suspicious activity in your neighborhood or apartment complex."
