ATLANTA — A portion of a road in northwest Atlanta is closed while police continue investigating a shooting that happened overnight into Thursday.
Atlanta Police Department said the shooting happened on Camrose Way NW near Harper Archer Elementary School and that two people were hurt. The call came in around 1:30 a.m.
Officers said the two people shot were taken to the hospital and are expected to be ok. Not much information was released about the shooting, but the focus of the investigation is being centered around a car that has its windows shot out.
Police have not said if there are any suspects in the case but did say they believe it was a targeted incident. Officers have blocked off part of Camrose Way while they continue to search for more information related to the case.
