CAPTURED: Double-murder suspect who escaped from South Fulton Police precinct back in custody

The Clayton County Sheriff put out the warning

SOUTH FULTON, Ga. — UPDATE: The suspect has been captured as of 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, authorities tell 11Alive. 

ORIGINAL STORY: The Clayton County Sheriff sent a warning to his residents because a double-murder suspect in a neighboring county escaped. 

On Monday, Sheriff Victor Hill said 18-year-old Isaih Alexander Williams escaped from the South Fulton Police precinct located on Old National Highway.

According to the South Fulton Police Department, Williams was involved in the murders of two teens on Old Bill Cook Road back on Oct. 10, 2019. 

Police said he was arrested April, 6, but was able to escape from his detainment. Williams is described as a black male 5-foot-7, approximately 130-pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with a red Air Jordan symbol, black pants and Nike Foamposite shoes that are a deep red color.

He's now wanted for charges of escape and burglary, in addition to the two counts each of murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm.

The sheriff said Williams should be considered dangerous. If anyone spots him, they should call 911, or if they have any information concerning his whereabouts, contact the fugitive squad at 770-477-4479. They can also call South Fulton Police detectives at 470-809-7331.
