ATLANTA — A report of a car fire early Monday morning turned into a homicide investigation.
It happened along the 2000 block of Sisk Street in northwest Atlanta at around 2:30 a.m.
An Atlanta Police spokesperson said the fire was the result of a collision with a parked vehicle. Once the fire was out, they said a man was in the front seat with an apparent gunshot wound.
Homicide investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and police did not release anything further.
