Church's Chicken investigating possible data breach

The Atlanta-based chicken restaurant is investigating a potential incident involving credit and debit card data.

Church's Chicken may have been hacked.

The company says it is investigating “a potential incident involving credit and debit card data at some of its company-owned restaurants in the U.S.”

Church’s believes the payment processing systems at certain company-operated restaurants may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party. Only Church's company restaurants in the U.S. are believed to be impacted. 

Church's operates company restaurants in Georgia and the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
