DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A shooting left a man dead overnight on Thursday at a Decatur apartment complex, according to police.
It happened at the Clarion Apartments on Rimington Lane in North Decatur. DeKalb County Police Department has provided little information but did say the shooting was fatal. However, authorities said that another victim involved was located unharmed.
The DeKalb County Medical Examiner identified the victim as 23-year-old Amere McGahey from McDonough.
Police are still at the complex investigating and have not said if there's anyone in custody.
