FOREST PARK, Ga. -- A man who was barricaded in a home in Forest Park Tuesday afternoon is now in custody. Video from SkyTracker11 showed several police vehicles and armed SWAT officers centered around a home in a cul-de-sac on Bimini Drive.
Clayton County Police Department said the gunman, identified as Timothy O'Neil, was barricaded inside the home. They say he fired at officers when they arrived to serve the warrant for terroristic threats out of Nebraska.
Because the home backs up to I-75, police shut down the southbound lanes for several hours.
An armored vehicle, several police vehicles and armed officers in multiple nondescript locations could be seen from the air.
Here is a timeline of events as seen from SkyTracker11. We are working to gather more details.
