COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Cobb County Police say they are investigating a suspected homicide after a person was found dead in a car.
The department said officers responded to the 2200 block of Powers Ferry Road, which includes several apartment developments, after reports of an injured individual inside a vehicle.
Cobb Police said they found a victim with a gunshot wound dead inside the car. They identified the victim as 43-year-old Curtis Coleman of Powder Springs.
"As of now the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information relevant to the case is asked to come forward and contact the Cobb County Police Department Major Crimes Unit at 770-499-3945," Cobb Police said in a statement.
