HALL COUNTY, Ga. -- Troubles keep following comedian Katt Williams.

Williams was found guilty Friday on charges of simple assault, simple battery and possession of marijuana. Now the comedian, who had called Hall County home, has been banned from from the county as well as neighboring Dawson County.

The charges were related to allegations that Williams and several of his associates held the comedian's bodyguard against his will and assaulted him.

During the court hearing Friday afternoon, a judge ruled that Williams will have to pay the bodyguard $7,500 in restitution and have no further contact with him.

In addition, Williams will have to complete 100 hours of community service as well as submit to two drug screens per month for the next year.

Williams has had a number of other run-ins with the law in 2016. He was arrested for allegedly assaulting a pool store employee; accused of assaulting five women and stealing their cell phones, identification and bank cards; throwing a salt shaker and bloodying someone's lip; and getting into a fight with a Gainesville teenager.
