Atlanta Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted for murder in two separate shootings.
Corey Comer, on the department’s most wanted list, is accused of fatally shooting two individuals earlier this year.
Authorities say Comer allegedly shot a 37-year-old man multiple times in May 2024. The second incident occurred earlier this month, involving the death of a 17-year-old boy. Investigators believe an illegal switch device, which transforms a semi-automatic weapon into a fully automatic one, was used in both shootings.
The Atlanta Police Department, alongside the FBI, is highlighting the broader risks of switch devices, citing they are becoming common in violent crimes.
To encourage tips from the public, Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to Comer’s arrest. Tips can be submitted anonymously via the Crime Stoppers Atlanta hotline at 404-577-TIPS (8477), online at StopCrimeATL.org, or by texting CRIMES (274637).
