ATLANTA — A man who was allegedly involved in multiple vehicle break-ins has died after being shot in Atlanta's Loring Heights neighborhood early Tuesday morning, according to police.
It happened around 3:41 a.m. on Bishop Street. Officers responded to a call of a person shot; when they arrived, they found the man sitting in the driver's seat of a gray Jeep.
Police took the man to the hospital, where he later died.
After investigating, police found that the man who died might have been involved in multiple vehicle break-ins on Peachtree Road. He then went to Bishop Street where it appears two more vehicles were broken into.
Authorities added an unknown suspect then shot the victim multiple times.
No details were released on the suspect or the victim's identity.
