SUWANEE, Ga. — A 23-year-old man has been arrested after a deadly drive-by shooting in a Suwanee neighborhood early Friday morning, police said.
The incident happened at a home on the 3000 block of Baxley Village Trail around 2:30 a.m. when officers from the Suwanee and Duluth Police Departments responded for a shots fire call.
45-year-old Nicole Clemons was inside the home when she was shot, and she later died.
Christian Marcus Ware Lessington was then taken into custody near the scene. Authorities added that it appears the shooting was targeted.
Police are still investigating the incident.
