DECATUR, Ga. — A person is now dead and another is behind bars after a dispute turned into a deadly stabbing in Decatur on Christmas, according to the DeKalb County Police Department.
Law enforcement responded to the incident on the 2900 block of Toney Drive for a person stabbed just around 3:30 p.m. Monday.
They said that an argument between the victim and suspect turned physical leading to the deadly stabbing. The suspect then allegedly stabbed the victim, according to police.
Authorities said the suspect stayed on the scene where he was then taken into custody.
